New Bee on the Block - September Block

Since Lina is a librarian, she asked us to do a book block.  This block was so much fun to do because we were able to be as creative as we wanted.  I had been saving selvedges (not sure why, just thought it would be a good idea) and was very excited to find a use for them!  I liked how the name of the fabric and the designer could be used as the book title and the author.

I just zigzagged around the selvedges to attach them to the book.

In hindsight I wish I had done a few skinnier books, too.  Oh well, next time!
